Indian sprinter Dutee Chand has secured Tokyo Olympics qualification in the 100m and 200m events courtesy of World Rankings quota on Wednesday, June 30.
Chand ranked 44 in the 100m charts and 51 in the 200m charts earlier which was enough for her as, 22 spots were available in 100m and 15 spots in 200m via the World Rankings route.
Dutee Chand failed to secure direct Olympic qualification spot in her last race as she finishes with a disappointing fourth in the women’s 100m final at the ongoing 60th National Interstate Senior Athletics Championships.
