Arunachal Pradesh’s Parshuram Kund would be connected to the rest of the country via railways, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Parshuram Kund is a Hindu pilgrimage to the sage Parshuram. It is located on the Brahmaputra plateau near the Lohit river‘s lower stages. 

“We’ll use the railway to connect Parshuram Kund.” on Sunday 22nd May Amit Shah said. 

In addition, he said, “We have created a network of highways across the state and connected far-flung regions in the state.”

Amit Shah, meanwhile, lay the foundation stone for a 51-foot bronze statue of Lord Parashuram on 21st May.

The Union Home Minister, together with Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister Pema Khandu, paid a visit to the Namsai district’s Golden Pagoda.

Amit Shah, in a jab at the Congress, said, “Congress leaders wonder what happened during the BJP’s eight years in power at the federal level. Rahul baba needs to take off his Italian specs and look at PM Narendra Modi and CM Pema Khandu’s development work.”

He also claimed that over the last three years, 9,600 fanatics had put down their weapons and joined the normal society. “By resolving all problems in the Northeast, our government hopes to bring peace to the region.” “In the northeast, the BJP government has decreased terrorist activity by 89 percent,” Amit Shah stated.

Moreover, Amit Shah lay the foundation stones for several development projects worth Rs.1000 crore at Namsai on the second day of his visit to Arunachal Pradesh.

He also met with stakeholders in Arunachal Pradesh to discuss the security situation and development efforts. 

Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister had lunch with security personnel.

Amit Shah said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a corruption-free system in which money sent by the Union Government reaches the people of Arunachal Pradesh and the people of the North East.”

He continued to say, “The North East, formerly known for terrorism, extremism, and explosions, is now known for tourism, development, infrastructure, and its diverse dialects, languages, dance forms, music, and cuisines.”

Talking about the government’s plan for the northeastern states, Amit Shah said, “The Narendra Modi government at the Center has a three-point agenda for the North East.” 

“Preserving and promoting its dialects, languages, dance forms, music, cuisine, cultural diversity, and natural beauty and bringing tourism from around the world to the beautiful North East, including Arunachal Pradesh.”

Amit Shah promised that the northeastern states’ border dispute would be settled quickly.

“To establish peace by resolving all inter-state disputes in the North East and ensuring that the North East develops,” Amit Shah said, adding, “There has been a border dispute between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for the past 50 years, and I assure you that this border dispute will be resolved soon.”
