The National Testing Agency or NTA issued a notification for the NTA UGC NET 2022 exams for the position of Assistant Professor and JRF and Assistant Professor. All candidates who meets the eligibility criteria may apply for the position.
NTA UGC NET Exam 2022
The NTA conducts the test that is entrusted by the UGC in order to determine the eligibility criteria of the candidates to apply for the position of Assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in the Indian educational institutes.

For JRF the candidate must not be more than 31 years of age. In addition, candidates belonging from the reserved category must be provided with 5 years relaxation.
For Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit.
In terms of educational qualifications, all candidates must have at least secured 55 % in their undergraduate and master’s degree.
Application fee
Candidates in the general category must pay Rs 1100.
Candidates in OBC category must pay Rs 550
SC/ST/Transgender candidates must pay Rs 275
