During the beautification mission by ‘Better Dimapur’ who was cleaning the road dividers during lockdown hours at night, a kind auto-rickshaw driver got down from his vehicle to hand over an Rs. 200 notes for them to buy water to quench their thirst.
A Better Dimapur’ is an initiative of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) that aspires to achieve a ‘cleaner, greener & healthy’ Dimapur with community participation. Mhonjan Lotha, one of the core members of the same said that the good samaritan driver’s act has inspired and motivated them more to do more public works for the welfare of society.
This sweet gesture of appreciation is the best gift for their work and has touched hearts. The story has gone viral and inspired many.
