On June 20, a food delivery man died in fancy bazar area of Guwahati in a sorrowful accident. Arup Chandra Choudhary delivering food for an app-based food platform while he was hit by a vehicle in front of the old fancy bazar jail.
The deceased fell on the road and the patrolling police immediately took him to the nearest hospital Mahendra Mohan Choudhary Hospital (MMCH) and the authorities declared him dead soon after he was admitted.
Panbazar police confirmed that the car involved in the accident has been seized and the driver has been apprehended. Also, police filed a case in this connection.
