A large number of explosives were recovered by the Indian Army forces in the Changlang district in Arunachal Pradesh.
Explosives recovered from Jungles
According to reports, as many as 14 Rajput Regiment were recovered from the deep jungles of Phinbiro-I. These ammunitions were hidden by the outfit organisation on Monday. The areas where the ammunitions were recovered fall under the Manmao Police Station.
As per reports from a senior police official, “Acting on a tip-off, troops of the 14 Rajput Regiment had launched the operation and recovered the arms and ammunition from the jungle area.”
According to sources, some of the recovered items include an AK-56 rifle having four rounds of ammunition, one point 22 pistol and two SBML guns.
