Indian team wants to play two warm-up matches before the Test series against England and therefore, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has put forward the request to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for the warm-up match to happen.
BCCI secretary, Jay Shah has taken the responsibility to speak to ECB CEO Tom Harrison in order to make sure that the necessary arrangements are made.
“Jay (Shah) will be speaking to ECB and its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tom Harrison to make an arrangement for two warm-up games before the five-Test match series,” said BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal.
