India recorded 8,822 new coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours on Wednesday, heightening the probability of the Covid-19 fourth wave entering the country.

India’s Covid-19 count grew as per data
According to data from the Union Health Ministry, India’s COVID-19 case count grew to 4,32,45,517 on Wednesday, while the number of active cases increased to 53,637.
Moreover, the death toll from the disease has risen to 5,24,792, with 15 fatalities reported in the last 24 hours, according to figures updated at 8 a.m. The number of current cases now accounts for 0.12% of all infections, with a national coronavirus recovery rate of 98.66%, according to the Health Ministry.

The active Ccoronavirus caseload increased by 3,089 cases in less than 24 hours, according to the data. According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was two percent, and the weekly positivity rate was 2.35 percent.
According to the data, the number of patients who have recovered from the sickness has increased to 4,26,67,088, with a case fatality rate of 1.21 percent. According to the ministry, the statewide COVID-19 vaccination effort has resulted in the administration of 195.5 crore vaccine doses.
