In a major development, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has told the Supreme Court that the evaluation of Class XII results will be decided on the basis of the performance by the students in Class 10 with 30% weightage, Class XI – 30% weightage and 40% weightage of Class XII.
Attorney-General read that the internal performance of the school will be taken on an average to ensure standardization. He submitted that the historical performance of the school will be taken as a reference, to the Supreme Court Bench. The subject-wise marks assessed by the school for 2020-2021 should be within a range of plus/minus 5 marks obtained by the students in the school in the subject in the reference year, Attorney General told the Supreme Court Bench.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can appear for examination when the situation gets favourable to conduct the physical mode of examinations. AG told the Supreme Court, that Examination Results will be given by 31st July 2021.
