Aspirants for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam vandalized and set fire to a train in Gaya, Bihar, on Wednesday, citing alleged irregularities in the exam.
Aspirants have been protesting the recruitment exam selection process for quite some time now.
Warning has been issued
The railways issued a general notice on Tuesday, warning job applicants that those found participating in vandalism and illegal activities while protesting will be barred from ever working for the railways.

This came after protesters squatted on railway tracks in several locations across Bihar the day before.
Situation under control
Meanwhile, SSP Gaya Aditya Kumar, commenting on the current situation, said the situation is now under control. Kumar added that the aspirants had set fire to a train and that some of the suspects had been identified.
The SSP also urged students to remain calm, saying they should not be influenced and should not damage government property.
