An initiative has been taken by Government of Assam to provide financial assistance to the families who have lost their family members due to Covid-19.
About the scheme
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma rolled out a scheme provided to give one time
Assistance of Rs 50,000 to next of kin who died of covid-19.
As per the scheme the beneficiary who have lost their families members should be a covid-19 positive patient at the time of
Death and it should be certified by the
State level covid Death audit Board
Documents required:
Document to be uploaded for submitting
Online application are as follows:
- Identify proof of nominated claimant
- RT PCR test report certifying having testing covid-19 positive
- Death certificate
- Next to kin certificate issued by DC
