Morigaon police in a turn of events shot a rapist who was nabbed in relation with rape of a child and murdering. The shot rapist is identified as Syed Ali aka Patha who had allegedly raped and murdered a minor girl on June 20, whose body was later found at a paddy field at Balidonga.
He was shot by the police at Balidonga of Bhuragaon in Morigaon district when he took the opportunity of seizing from the hands of the police. The culprit was taken to the spot where the incident of rape took place.
He is severely injured and is taken to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for his further treatment.
