The picture of the bill included in the tweet shows that the woman was charged USD 11 (Rs. 817) for crying during the surgery.
Midge posted about the charge, and wrote,
“Mole removal: $223. Crying: extra,”.

One user commented on her post saying, “Hey! A 20% emotional discount! Not bad. A lot of people I know discount my emotions at least 80% or more”.
Another made fun of the US health sector saying, “Any time my non-American friends complain about how “horrible” their medical system is in their country (e.g. Japan, France, UK, Sweden), I’m like, Mademoiselle, come to America first. We will charge you for having a brief emotion.”
Another user shared his own experience that read, “I had a mole removed, asked Dr. “Will it hurt when anaesthetic wears off?” She replied, “what anaesthetic?” “And promptly snipped it off with what looked like kitchen scissors! I couldn’t scream, my kids were behind the curtain.”
