Uber has implemented various regulations to help resolve customer issues after receiving thousands of complaints from riders and drivers.
Riders complained about drivers canceling rides or refusing to turn on the air conditioning, so the company implemented new guidelines.
Moreover, customers aren’t the only ones who are unhappy, as drivers have expressed concerns about their earnings as a result of increasing gasoline prices, long-distance pickups, and payment schedules.
The company claims that the increase in fuel prices has touched everyone, particularly ridesharing drivers who have felt the squeeze of rising fuel costs.

1st ever Uber Driver Advisory Council was held in March
The first-ever Uber Driver Advisory Council convened in March was held. The problem of increased fuel prices was brought up by the council’s driver members.
Uber has increased its fees in recent weeks to protect drivers from the impact of rising gasoline prices in numerous Indian cities.
One of the most common complaints about drivers is that they refuse to pick up people who are in the way.

The firm will now pay drivers more if they have to go a significant distance to pick up passengers.
Drivers will be able to view the earnings for long pick-ups separately printed on the fare receipt under the new system. When there are few drivers and heavy demand, this will ensure that the patron gets a ride when they need it.
The goal is to encourage drivers to make those long-distance pickups, which are otherwise inconvenient for customers.
We want payment in cash is a common expression heard from drivers across the country. This sentence is a kiss of death for a consumer who wishes to be at their location on time.
Uber has started paying drivers on a regular basis. Trip earnings from Monday to Thursday will be credited to drivers on Friday, and earnings from Friday to Sunday will be credited on Monday.
Before the trip begins, the Uber app will provide the form of payment (cash or online). According to the corporation, this will allow the driver to select a cash-only ride if necessary.
