Two Assamese Film Critics Shine Bright: Here’s a great news for the people of Assam. Two Assamese film critics namely Aparajita Pujari and Pranjal Borah have been selected as members of the India Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).

Apart from being a known poet and translator, Aparajita Pujari is a regular contributor to E-Cineindia, which is the official journal for the FIPRESCI’s India Chapter.

Aparajita Pujari and Pranjal Borah are the latest Assamese members on the team from India. Pranjal Borah is a faculty with the English Department of the Dikhowmukh College located in the Sivasagar district of Assam.

Pranjal Borah was the recipient of the best film critic award given by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs under the Government of Assam in the year 2018.
