N Chandrasekaran who is the chairman of Tata Group has purchased a duplex in a luxury tower in Mumbai. The duplex is worth Rs 98 crore and the purchase has been described by the group as a ‘high-profile’ transaction.

The duplex is located in 33 South, near Jaslok Hospital in South Mumbai and is 28 storey skyscraper.
The carpet area of the duplex is roughly 6,000 sq ft. and is on the 11th and 12th floor of the skyscrapper.
As per reports, “the chandras were already residing here for some years on a monthly lease rental of Rs 20 lakh. He moved into 33 South Condominium after he took over as the chairman of Tata Sons on February 21, 2017.”
According to sources, the deal has been made under his wife’s name Lalitha and son Pranav. The tata group recently made Chandrasekhar the chairman of the company for another 5 years.
