According to state news agency WAM, the explosives “resulted in the death of a Pakistani national and two Indian nationals, and six others sustained mild to moderate injuries.”
Unverified Social Media Footage
A heavy plume of black smoke billowed from what seemed to be the Musaffah area, according to unverified social media footage.
“Initial investigations found parts of a small plane that could be a drone at both sites,” Abu Dhabi police said in a statement, adding that there was no “significant damage.”
Houthi Drone suspected
The Houthi movement, which is fighting a Saudi-led coalition that includes the UAE, has launched some cross-border missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia but has claimed few such attacks on the UAE, which have been mainly denied by Emirati officials.
