Shillong Atheletes Shine: Shillong atheletes are representing India at WAKO World Kick Boxing Championship held in Thailand.

The atheletes are Francis RR Songthiang (playing in 63 kg Kick Light and Musical Form Hard Style), Lorenza Songthiang (playing in 60 kg Kick Light and Musical Form in some style), and Sanbor Lyngdoh Nogpiur (playing in 51 kg Low Kick in Ring Sport) respectively.
The list further includes Juh Paujuh Nongtdu (playing in 57 kg K1 Rule in Ring Sport), Mewanpynshngain Nongrum (playing in 75 kg Low Kick in Ring Sport), and Pynshai Mawrie, Indian (Meghalaya) Coach under the leadership of Donney R Ranee, President Of Meghalaya Association Of Kick Boxing Organization (MAKO).
