Affects of Body Shaming on a person
Saranya Jaikumar who is a member of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights said, “Body shaming leads to anxiety, depression, causing body dysmorphic disorder. Many times, this is reflected as anger or extreme depression.”
A recent increase in the number of student-related murder cases has worried many experts. Due to a sudden increase in several behavioural cases, many experts say that child counselling and a psychologist must be present in every school.
