Shashi Tharoor who is the congress MP and known for his extra ordinary speeches has clearly stated India must own to diplomatic stand in this ongoing war. According to him, India must use its mediating powers to come to a truce between Russia and Ukraine. The two countries have been engaged in the war since the past 40 days.
Talking about the ongoing situation that is prevailing in the political arena, India must take a stand to mediate the whole situation as it has been doing since the inception of NAM.
As per the statement by Shashi Tharoor, ” it is neither congress’ nor BJP’s foreign policy but it is Indian Foreign Policy.
According to him, India must take a decision backed by morality at this position. War between any given point and with any two countries is a serious matter and cannot be ignored.
From the initial days, the friendship between Russia and India has always been on good terms. The former helps India with military assistance and crude oil supply.
With this war, Russia is getting weaker and as a result china might take advantage of this situation.
Shashi Tharoor criticised the present government on multiple occassions. He added by saying this war can go nuclear and on the grounds of humanity and on the principle of morality one must take a step towards mediating the conflict.
