Executive Director Of Maruti Suzuki Visits Royal Global University For An Interactive Session

Sri Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., visited Royal Global University for an interactive session with students, faculty, and administrative staff. This event was helmed by the office of Dean, Students’ Welfare, and was aimed at ensuring holistic development of the student body, potential of Electric Vehicles in India, understanding the development, and journey of the automobile giant amongst a host of other factors.

The industry expert was felicitated by Dr. A.K. Pansari, Chancellor, Royal Global University, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor, Royal Global University and Mr. Ankur Pansari, Executive Vice President, Gyan Sagar Foundation. Prof. (Dr.) Rohit Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Royal Global University, in his welcome speech emphasized on the varsity’s efforts to make available to its students, fair amount of opportunities to interact with industry experts thereby enabling them to transcend from individuals with limited capabilities to working professionals with the required work ethics, values and knowledge of the latest technology.

He also threw light upon Royal Global University’s focus on developing immersion programs for students. Mr. Srivastava threw light on the concepts of the world being popularly known as being ‘vuca’ (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, adversity) and off late gradually being known as being ‘bani’ post covid. He emphasized the importance of students inculcating in themselves a positive attitude to learn along with humility.

Praising Royal Global University for the niche it has made for itself in the north-eastern region of the country, he reminded the students that it is only people’s attitude that determines the altitude they reach in life, and therefore, though they should be updated with the latest knowledge and technology with respect to their areas of interest, they should always be ready to practice new things.

The trailblazer reminded his audience the importance of travelling to different places and countries in order to understand the marketing strategy required to be adopted for their products while simultaneously keeping in mind that the consumer has to be the centre of everything.

He further encouraged the audience to follow their passion even if it didn’t have better pay or higher status attached to it, as he shared Maruti Suzuki’s journey from being a manufacturer of 50,000 cars per year to currently being the fourth largest automobile producer in the world market, threw light on the potential future of Electric Vehicles in India, use of Artificial Intelligence and importance of Data Privacy in today’s competitive world.The session was wrapped up with a captivating Question-Answer round with the audience.
