Riflemen and women needed
The department has updated for 104 vacant position to be filled by Rifle men and women. The vacancy is available for those against the sports quota category. All people who are interested in applying for the same may submit their application by 30th April 2022.
General duty
Number of position that are vacant to apply are 104.
In terms of vacancy in the sports category –
- Football – 20 posts are open
- Rowing – 18 posts are open
- Archery – 15 posts are open
- Cross Country – 10 posts are open
- Athletics – 10 posts are open
- Polo – 10 posts are open
The pay scale for the applicants of the above personnel will be advised as per the regulations of 7th CPC.
In terms of eligibility, applicants above the age of 18 and below the age of 23 may apply.
Age is relaxed for the general category applicants by 5 years and SC/ST category applicants by 10 years.
In terms of education, a candidate must pass matriculation from a recognised educational institution.
In terms of sports, the players who have qualified for international, national or inter school or university participated players can effectively take part in the recruitment.
The application fee is 100 for general and no fees required for SC/ST category applicant.
