RBI Officer Grade B Recruitment- Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: A candidate must be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years for Gen/EWSs, 15 years for SC/ST/ PwBD & 13 years for OBC PwBD.
Educational Qualification:
RBI Officer Gr. B (DR) – General: A minimum of 60% (or 50% in the case of SC/ST/PwBD) or equivalent grade in the Bachelor’s degree, as well as the 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.
RBI Officer Gr. B (DR) – DEPR:
a. A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance from a recognised Indian or Foreign University/Institute, with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years; OR
b. PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR
c. A Master’s Degree in Economics from a recognised Indian or Foreign University/Institute in any of the sub-categories of economics, i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
RBI Officer in Gr B (DR) – DSIM:
a. A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55 per cent or equivalent grade in aggregate across all semesters/years; OR
b. A Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55 per cent or an equivalent grade in all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputable institute; OR
c. M. Stat. Degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, with a minimum of 55 per cent in all semesters/years; OR
d. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) offered jointly by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta, with a minimum of 55 per cent or equivalent grade in all semesters/years.
Assistant Manager – Rajbhasaha:
(i) Second Class Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation, with English as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level; OR
(ii) Second Class Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level; OR
(iii) Second Class Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English and Hindi as Core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor’s Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree); OR
(iv) Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class.
Assistant Manager – Protocol & Security:
(i) The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force OR
(ii) The candidate should be of the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with a minimum of five years’ service as Assistant Commandant in Paramilitary Forces such as Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Assam Rifles, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Defence Security Corps, National Security Guard, Railway Protection Force, Rashtriya Rifles, Special Protection Force, Commando Battalion for Resolute Action, Special Frontier Force and Home Guards.
