A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 65-year-old man, named Salim Uddin in the district of Silchar.
The incident took place in the evening of June 15, at Kanakpur area in Silchar. The victim was taken to a deserted area by the convict where he allegedly raped the minor. As per the sources, before the police could have reached, the despoiler fled from the spot of incident.
