Prashant Kishor, political strategist severly attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that he may be covertly working for the BJP.
On microblogging site Twitter, Prashant Kishor posted a set of photos which showed Nitish Kumar greeting PM Modi with folded hands and a smile on his face. This was an obvious jibe at Nitish Kumar’s alliance with the BJP, however, the tweet has been deleted.
Prashant Kishor Severly Attacked Nitish Kumar
The JD(U) leader severed ties with the BJP and formed a new government in alliance with the RJD-Congress-Left bloc in last month. He has been making concerted efforts to forge unity among opposition parties to trounce the saffron party in the 2024 general elections.
In 2020, Prashant Kishor was sacked from the JD(U). He announced that he would focus primarily on Bihar a couple of months ago. Nitish Kumar’s decision to switch allies will have a regional and not national impact.
Nitish Kumar told while speaking to media in Delhi on September 7, ”Working with other political parties is his business. Whatever he has got to do in Bihar, does not concern us. Does he know how much work has been done since 2005?”
