In Assam’s Cachar district police firing injures a suspected robber.
Reportedly, a suspected robber was injured during a police firing as he was trying to flee from custody.
Police firing injures suspected robber as he tries to flee
As per reports, the suspected robber has been identified as Hussain Ahmed Laksar. He is a resident of Dhonehari Part II in Cachar.
In connection with multiple robbery cases, Hussain was arrested on Friday night, by the Sonal Police police.
The police also recovered a .32 mm pistol from him as per information.

Two police personnel were also injured
The suspected robber during his interrogation, assured the police to guide them to a place where he had hidden illicit items.
During which, he tried to flee from the police custody. This forced the police to open fire at him.
Reports claimed that along with Hussain, two other police personnel were also injured.
Hussain sustained leg injuries during the firing. He was immediately rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
