The Dimapur police has recently arrested a man for issuing fake Covid-19 test reports.
Reportedly, the man was issuing false covid test reports to the passengers in his bus.
Sold fake Covid-19 test reports to passengers
As per reports, the man has been arrested for issuing fake covid test reports to the passengers in his bus moving towards Manipur from the Blue Hill Bus station.
The man has been identified as Mohammad Samsung. He worked for IMA Travels which runs from Dimapur to Imphal.
Sold fake reports for ₹500
The accused sold fake Covid-19 reports at ₹500 per person within an hour.
As per a press release by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Dimapur and Public Relations Officers, the police team initiated the investigation after receiving some specific information received.
The press release added, “This is being investigated and all individuals involved are being thoroughly examined.”
