New York Street has been named after a significant Hindu Temple of Lord Ganesha. The temple is one of the oldest one to be situated in North America.

The hindu god temple is one of the largest and oldest one situated at North America. This day marks the most important day for the community of the Indians especially the Hindus living in the United States of America.
The street has been named as the Ganesh Temple Street.
The temple which was built in the later half of the 1970s , regarded the temple as one of the first and the oldest one in North America. The temple was built by the Hindu Community living in the states.
The ceremony was conducted beautifully and the whole of the hindu community took part graciously.
The event witnessed the presence of Consulate General of India , Randhir Jaiswal. He addressed the community by saying that the indian hindu community has worked hard enough in a different country to finally have established their milestone.
