National Board of Examinations (NBE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (India), Government of India, that was founded in 1975 in New Delhi as a Society under the Delhi Society Registration Act with the goal of standardizing postgraduate medical education and examination in India.
