Navy Team To Start Expedition: The Sea Riders- Indian Navy Motor Bike team is all set to embark on a motorcycle journey across seven states of Northeast Region to celebrate the 75th year of independence of the country.

It is noted that this is a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration. There are a total of 31 riders including 2 women officers in the Sea Riders team. They have planned to cover a distance of 3500 km in 24 days.
The expedition will cover some of the most terrific and astonishing terrains of Northeast Region. Sea Riders will visit the historical Unakoti sculptures and Keibul Lamjao National Park. This park is the only floating park in the entire world.
Guwahati, Shillong, Aizawl, Imphal and Kohima has been the selected locations for the expedition. Moreover, the team will visit schools during their expedition, in order to interact with the students.
