Mokokchong: On the request of the Chubawati Longchar, president of Ao Senden a total of 28 personals of the 23 assam rifles, Mokokchung volunteered to donate blood to the blood bank, Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital.
Each donor donated a unit of blood each. The blood donation camp was held under the supervision of Dr. Apong Sangtam, MO.
As per the sources, Chubawati said that one of his relatives admitted at IMDH was in need of blood but there was no reserve in the Blood Bank. He therefore requested the Commandant of 23 Assam Rifles, Mokokchung to initiate a blood donation camp.
Additionally, she expressed gratitude to the Commandant of 23 Assam Rifles and the personnel who volunteered today.
