Shillong: Meghalaya Police bid a sorrowful farewell to its service dog K-9 Rani, who passed away on June 16. K-9 Rani born on November 6, 2011 played a important role in tracking explosives and saving many lives during the course of service.
“Today, with heavy heart, we bid tearful adieu to K-9 Rani, a valued member of our department, who left for heavenly abode, after battling chronic illness,” Meghalaya Police said in tweet. “Godspeed, Rani, you will be missed,” he added.
