Shillong: The High Court of Meghalaya filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) taking apprehension of the various orders issued by the deputy commissioners which required all shopkeepers, vendors, local cabbies and others to get vaccinated before they resume their business.
The PIL states it was brought to court’s notice that improper implementation of the Government’s welfare schemes, meant for marginalised sections of society affected their right to life.
