Maruti Suzuki S Presso CNG is now launched in India, starting at Rs. 5.90 lakh for the LXi variant and for the VXi variant, the price is going up to Rs. 6.10 lakh. The CNG version in comparison to the petrol-powered S Presso, cost Rs.95,000 more.
Powered by all new K10C engine, S Presso is the 10th car in Maruti’s portfolio. Till date, the company claims to have sold over 2.26 lakh units of S-Presso across the country.
Maruti Suzuki S Presso CNG and Petrol Price –
Variant LXi – CNG Price (ex-showroom Delhi) – Rs. 5.90 lakh; Petrol (ex-showroom) – Rs. 4.95 lakh
Variant VXi – CNG Price (ex-showroom Delhi) – Rs. 6.10 lakh; Petrol (ex-showroom)- Rs.5.15 lakh
In terms of power, the CNG version gets a 1.0 litre K10C engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. Whereas, in petrol-only mode, the new engine puts 65hp and 89Nm of torque.
In terms of design and features, the S Presso CNG not no major significant changes in the exterior or the interior. For safety, the car gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and seat belt reminders as standard.
The petrol-powered S Presso competes against the Ranault Kwid and the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, however no rivals having a CNG version.
