In a dire incident locals burn down one truck after it kills three persons including two minors.
In Baksa district of Assam, two children along with a female teacher were killed during a road accident.
Locals protest against the incident
The accident happened in Daodhara area. The teacher along with the two children were on their way to home on a two-wheeler.
A speeding truck on National Highway 127 hit the two-wheeler following which the teacher and the two children died on spot.

After which, tension erupted in the area and the locals in protest against the accident set the truck on fire.
However, the Simla police station tried to extinguish the fire with the help of fire tender.
Also, the locals who were in a rage, threw stones upon the fire tenders. Finally, the police officials brought the situation under control.
The truck driver surrendered himself
The truck driver along with the truck surrendered himself to the Simla Police station. The driver was identified as Khalek Ali.
Future as per information, all of the deceased were from Daodhara Himalaya Public School. The teacher was identified as Rijina Kujur (25).
The deceased children have been identified as Christina Daimary (9) and Varlina Brahma (9) and were studying in 2nd standard.
