IIT-JEE examination on a global platform starting from the US to Vietnam. India’s prestigious institute is planning to take this move with the help of Indian Government and hold the entrance level examination in 25 countries.
The examination was conducted in two of the foreign nations – Kuala Lampur and Lagos last year. Earlier, with the cooperation of the Central government, the institute was able to conduct the examination in 12 countries.
This time in the list, 25 countries will be added, including – the US, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, China, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE and others.
Thousands of graduates and post graduates seats will be made available to the foreign nationals. According to the Union Education Minister, with the help of the outreach, many deserving students will be able to get into the college.
