The government of Sri Lanka has refused to resign admist the ongoing crisi. They have refused to resign until the opposition accepts the offer of Unity.

With the ongoing crisis that is going on in the island nation, the party is deterred to not resign until the opposition agrees for unity.
The protest are still going on. Monday the oppposition party clearly rejected the offer of unity and called it a ‘sham’.
The party has been urged to resign because of uncontrollable scenerio in the country. The shortage of basic essential items have left the whole country in a devastated condition.
As the country is in a state of emergency, the president is likely to convene a meeting today. As of now, four ministers from the cabinet has been named to maintain order and legitimacy in the country.
The deteriating condition of Sri lanka has scared the people world wide for their health and life.
till date, the country has witnessed mass agitating demanding the present ruling party to resign over the extreme condition.
Rajapaksa and his family has been accused of not handling the country’s economy in a favourable manner and misusing the funds. This has led to the present day situation of debts and worse economic crisis in 2022.
