Sri Lanka has declared a state of emergency after a violent uproar of protest was witnessed in the country.

The Island country witnessed lots of angry people marching down the street of the country in a hope for betterment of the country.
The protest went violent and as a result of which the President of the country had to announce a state of emergency giving military the right to arrest anyone without trial.
The protest took place as a consequence of the rising fuel and other subsidary crisis that ha been going about in the country.
The violent protest that had started outside the residence of the President’s house resulted in injuries on both sides of the parties. A total of 24 police personnel and 15 citizen were injured during the act.
Currently, the country is going through an immense economic crisis with no availability of basic necessities to the people.
With the on going pandemic and the country’s loan of about $2.5 has culminated to this situation today.
