The Federation of Government College Teachers’ Association (FEGOCTA), Manipur has made it clear that they will boycott online classes and examinations in the Government colleges, as announced earlier, including those in the Dhanamanjuri University from July 1, 2021, if the Government fails to issue orders of 7th UGC Pay and Regulation, 2018 by June 30.
In a press release, issued by the federation clearly stated that the orders of 7th UGC Pay and Regulation, 2018 should be as per the MoU of 6th March last signed between the Government and FEGOCTA.
Additionally, the college teachers have been pressing the state government to issue orders adopting the 7th UGC Pay and Regulations, 2018 June 30. The state government had already agreed to adopt the same three months ago.
