A woman was found dead in the washroom of GMCH who came for treatment of her child.
As per reports, the woman has been identified as 21-year-old, Ahshiya Khatun woman who was found dead in the washroom of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.
The woman came to GMCH with her child
Reportedly, she was there at the hospital for the treatment of her child.
The mother of the woman has accused Ashiya’s husband Hadi Ali of being behind the death.
She also mentioned that Ali, who is the woman’s second husband, had a fight with her on Saturday night inside the hospital.
The couple had frequent fights
As informed by the mother, the couple had frequent fights as Ali doubted his wife of being in contact with her ex husband.
She also claimed that the fights were often physical.
However, the police have sent the body for a post-mortem report. And further investigation regarding the case is underway.
Furthermore, the general public has raised questions over the security condition of GMCH.
