On Thursday, Chennai Super Kings player Deepak Chahar proposed to his girlfriend at the Dubai International Stadium. Despite a defeat to Punjab Kings (PBKS), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) the cricketer Deepak Chahar finished off the day on an extremely happy note as the game ended he proposed to his girlfriend and she replied with “yes.”
After CSK’s loss in Match 53 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season, the cricketer went to the stands and took his girlfriend by surprise, she was dressed in black.

The people seated nearby congratulated the couple, which also includes MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi. Chahar posted the video of his proposal to his girlfriend on Instagram and captioned it as, “Special moment”.

Deepak Chahar was having a highly uneventful day as CSK fell to a 6 wicket defeat vs Punjab, until the proposal.
Chennai already qualified for playoffs
The defeat didn’t really matter for Chennai, however they had already qualified for the playoffs, the India international would be looking to make a comeback in the knockout phases.
The 29 years old player could only take a wicket and conceded 48 runs in 4 overs, as Punjab raced to 139 for 4 in 13 overs, crossing the 134-target set by CSK with 7 overs to spare.
In top form was PBKS skipper KL Rahul, hitting an unbeaten knock of 98 runs off 42 balls.
Initially CSK scored 134 for six in 20 overs, with Faf du Plessis hitting 76 off 55 balls. Punjab bowlers Chris Jordan and Arshdeep Singh were in good form, taking two wickets each.
