China is enhancing infrastructural capacity across the international border in Arunachal Pradesh, according to Eastern Army Commander Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita.
Lieutenant General Kalita told reporters in Guwahati on Monday that China’s infrastructure is being built, roads are being built, and ancient advanced landing fields are being reactivated in the Indian territory of Arunachal Pradesh.

Moreover, he also stated that India is always updating its infrastructure and capacities in order to deal with any border issue that may emerge.
China constructed border communities near LAC
“In the Tibet region, a lot of infrastructures are being upgraded over the Line of Actual Control (LAC).” The opposing side is constantly improving their road, rail, and air links, as well as their 5G mobile network, to better their ability to respond to a situation or mobilize soldiers, according to Kalita.

According to him, Chinese officials have constructed border communities near the LAC, which might be utilized for dual purposes.

“The border villages can be used for residents as well as to mobilize troops to the advanced areas,” Eastern Command’s GoC-in-C remarked.
He stated that the eastern border presents a variety of issues. “The Indian Army has demonstrated outstanding professionalism and gallantry.” “The past year has been quite interesting, and we have faced all of the hurdles,” Kalita added.
