A photo of a man from Brazil carrying his father on his back to take a Covid-19 vaccine went viral on the Internet
According to a report by News18, Doctor named Erik Jennings Simões took the photo of the father-son duo, featuring 24-year-old Tawy who is carrying his 67-year-old father Wahu.
Father had poor old man eyesight, suffered chronic disease
The doctor who took the photo says that Wahu’s eyesight is poor and he walks with difficulty due to chronic urinary problems. Tawy carried his father on his back for five to six hours, the report added.
Additionally, the picture was taken last year, but Doctor Erik Jennings Simões shared it on Instagram in January this year to send a “positive message at the beginning of the new year.”

While sharing it on Instagram, he captioned, “Most remarkable moment of 2021. Tawy Zoé bringing dad Wahu Zoé for the first covid-19 vaccine. Tawy carried Dad for 6 hours into a forest with hills, hedgehogs, and obstacles to our base.”
“Done with the vaccine, put his father on his back again and walked for another 6 hours to his village. The year comes 2022, and there has not been a single case of COVID-19 in the Zoe population,” he added.
Father passed away last year in September
However, the sad part of the story is the old man Wahu passed away in September last year, the report added
