On Saturday, a Faridabad Police shared a Bollywood-inspired post to identify a bike thief on social media. The police department left many amused with its post pointing out the bike thief. The reason behind this amusement is their creative re-imagination of the lyrics of ‘Bholi Si Surat’ accompanied by the offender’s photograph.

Funny posts related to theft and crimes

In this era of social media, funny videos are circulated over these platforms which gains a lot of attention from the netizens.

However, regarding theft and other crimes, funny posts of police keep coming on social media every now and then. The police of the country have also become very creative and posted a similar humorous post on social media to identify the bike thief.

Faridabad police tweets

“Bholi si surat, kaam mein susti, motorcycle churae, haye (Innocent face, lazy when it comes to work, [he] steals motorcycles).” the Faridabad police tweeted on Saturday.

Although, bollywood fans will instantly recognise the caption as a reworking of the song ‘Bholi Si Surat’ from the hit film Dil To Pagal Hai in 1997.

Using the words of Aqua’s hit ‘Barbie Girl’ song, the police department wrote: “Attention barbie girl, it’s the real world Life isn’t plastic- safety’s fantastic!”
