Assam: Jailor takes humble initiative of planting medicinal plants in Biswanath Jail Campus

In a humble initiative, the jailor of Biswanath Chariali jail, Rabiram Ingti, takes an initiative of planting medicinal plants within the Biswanath district jail campus on July 1. A local tea garden donated 200 Sarpagandhas and other medicinal plants to aid the noble process.

According to Rabiram Ingti, this initiative is a means to motivate youngsters to join in protecting and conserving medicinal and other plants. With the joint contribution, young children will gain insight into the plants’ value and help make the earth a greener place.
