Boy from Assam was found dead at a rest camp above Dzukou Valley in Nagaland.
The boy identified as one Bakhanta Nath, hailed from Gugamukh, Dhemaji district of Assam.
The boy had come to visit Dzukou Valley
Reportedly, the boy along with 4 other companions had come to visit the valley on 16th January.
The Southern Angami Youth Organisation in a press release informed, “But unfortunately on January 17 morning, the deceased was found dead by his companions who without immediately informing the concerned authorities fled to Assam.”
The SAYO further stated, “The mortal remains, after a short funeral service, were handed over to the South Police Station, Kohima for post mortem and for necessary procedures where it was informed that the cause of death was natural and there was no foul play.”
The youth organization of Nagaland informed that the dead body was brought to the Viswema village Junction from Dzukou Valley.
A short funeral activity was performed by the locals
After the funeral service, the mortal remains of Bashasta Nath was then handed over to the South Police Station in Kohima for medical investigation and Post-mortem report.
In the Post-mortem report, the cause of death was a natural cause.
It was found that the reason for the death of the tourist boy was a natural cause and no other foul play was found.
Further, on 19 January, the dead body of the deceased tourist was handed over to the family members living in Gogamukh, Dhemaji.
