Indian Archaeologist’s statement

According to him, “Remnants of temples, including Lord Ganesha’s Temple were discovered near Qutub Minar. It establishes the existence of a temple”. The archaeologist is a Padma Shri awardee.

He further cleared the air by saying that the Qutub Minar is a different structure altogether and no one should jump into any conclusion.

According to reports from a leading news agency, the delhi tourism website clearly states that, “An inscription over its eastern gate provocatively informs us that it was built with materials obtained from demolishing 27 Hindu Temples”.

Another archaeologist named KK Muhammed, had a similar view back in 2019 said that the muslim community must voluntarily give the Gyanvapi Mosque that is situated in  Varanasi and Idgah in Mathura. He stated this in Mangaluru Lit Fest in 2019.

The archaeologists statement has arised at a time when the country is facing severe clashes between the two communities. Houses are being bull dozed in so many states, stones are hurled at police officials. The scenario is quite challenging for many officials.
