Guwahati District Physical Cultural Association has organised its 41st Guwahati District Inter Club Powerlifting Championship.
The championship will be held from 30th to 31st October 2021, at Kharguli Unnayan Samiti, Kharguli, Guwahati. It will be held under the authority of Assam Powerlifting Association.
The association invites all affiliated clubs within Guwahati and surrounding areas to take part in the championship.
Furthermore, it states that the championship also acts as a selection trial for the State Championship.
Important points for the District Championship in Guwahati
For both boys and girls there will be equipped and unequipped events.
Per competitor entry fee is Rs 200/- and affiliation fee is Rs 1000/-
All competitors, members, officials and delegates and/ or any other person present at the event are mandatorily required to carry proof of taking at least one dose of Covid Vaccine.
At 7:00 am all officials for the event must be present at the venue.
All competitors are required to report at 8:am sharp.
Weighing will start at 9:00am sharp.
Flag hoisting and opening ceremony will be at 9:30am
The event will start at 10:00am.
It must be noted that no consideration will be made for the late comers.
Prize distribution
The prize distribution for the championship is scheduled on 31st October after the completion of the event.
However, clubs are requested to send the list of the participants who are taking part in the championship before 25th of October 2021.
