The State Police Recruitment Board on 18 February 2022 informed that the Recruitment exam for various posts in Assam Police is scheduled to be held from February 27, 2022, till April 24, 2022.
The state-level Police Recruitment Board stated that SEBA (Board of Secondary Education) will be the Nodal agency and also the total 4,27q vacant posts of constable AB (Armed Branch) and a total of 2,391 posts of constable UB (Unarmed Branch ) in the Assam Police.
Recruitment exam details
The examination will also be held to choose candidates for a total of 788 vacancies of Constable in F&ES (Fire & Emergency Services), 813 posts of Constable in APRO (Assam Police Radio Organisation), Constable/Guardsman posts under DGCD (Directorate General of Civil Defence) and CGHG (Commandant General of Home Guards).
A written test is also meant for the selection of candidates for 154 vacant posts of Constable in AISF Battalions but only for SPOs under Directorate General of Civil Defence and Commandant General of Home Guards.
