Amazon India published an advertisement just before Diwali to commemorate one of the country’s most important festivals, and it contains a message that has captured the hearts of netizens.
While the country prepares to enjoy the festival with friends and family, the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak has tempered the enthusiasm.
As we prepare to celebrate the holiday, we must remember the hands that provided assistance to us as we dealt with the second wave of the pandemic.
The new Amazon ad is dedicated to all the unsung Covid heroes that stepped up to support us in our time of need. The netizens have given the advertisement a giant thumbs up.
Description of the viral ad
A woman can be seen driving her son to meet their “special family” to greet them on Diwali in the now-viral ad.
The son has no idea why his mother wants to bring the present personally to them or who they are. They then go to an unknown address, ring the doorbell, and wait outside.
Meanwhile, the mother tells his son about how when his son became ill in April, he was in severe need of a hospital bed, and how this family assisted them in obtaining one.
An old Sikh then opens the door, and the child bids him a good Diwali.

On Friday, October 29th, the video was released. It has already received over 5 million views on Facebook.
The e-commerce company honours all of the “exceptional families” that have assisted people in overcoming adversity.
